ST ERKENWALD'S

10:30 - 12:30 Worship Together

All-age Worship which is lively and informal. During the talk children have their own activities.

Family Communion is held every first and third Sunday. We meet to remember Jesus' Last Supper where He shared bread and wine with His friends. During the talk children have their own activities.

In all our times of Worship there are opportunities to hear and respond to God’s word,
receive ministry, share testimonies and prayer needs.

Refreshments

After each 10.30 service people are invited have tea or coffee at the back of the church. This is a time to chat and meet in an informal setting and has proved to be a great time of getting to know each other and an opportunity to catch up on news.

18:30 - 20:00 Deeper With God

This is informal worship where through teaching and ministry we go "Deeper with God".

Prayer is central to our life at St Erkenwald.

We meet every Sunday morning at 9.45am to listen to what The Lord is saying to us. We believe that God speaks to us in the silence. The words and images that we recieve are shared at the 10.30am service and people are encouraged to come for prayer if they feel that they are for them.

We also have regular "half-nights of prayer". An extended time of prayer when we meet in the evening to pray for local and global issues. There are also times of silence, worship and ministry. People are welcome to come for the whole or part of the evening. These usually occur monthly.

We usually have a time of ministry during or after our services where people can come and be prayed for.

We encourage the church to pray together throughout the week by publishing a weekly prayer diary in our newsheet.

There is a prayer board in church where people can write down their prayer requests.
