ST ERKENWALD'S

I have been a christian for over twenty years, and I have sometimes wondered how strong my faith would be if it was really tested. In January this year my husband had a stroke, and died five days later without regaining consciousness. During those days I asked God where he was because I couldn't find him in all that was happening.

He said "look at the people I have surrounded you with". Those people have poured out their love on me and my daughter in wonderful, practical ways, and cushioned us with their prayers. Despite the pain of this time, it has made me so conscious of God's wonderful, sustaining love for me that I know in a new way that I can trust Him completely for all the future.
